Expedition Challenge Award 2019
scouts hiking with a map

During our early summer programme, scouts will be working towards their expedition challenge award. They will plan and take part in an overnight expedition on 6-7 July. Scouts are challenged to visit and report back on some places of interest and walk, carrying some essential kit, and navigate their own route.

You can read more about the award here or in your badge book

8 weeks of training and activities will ensure that every team has scouts skilled in navigation, first aid and problem solving so that they are ready to take on the challenge.

We'll also be posting some useful info for parents and carers so that young people can be supported at home to complete this award.

Expedition weekend is 6th to 7th July 2019.
