Scouts: Exploring Our Values

Scouts exploring their values
Since the beginning of the year, scouts have been exploring their values through our promise challenge programme and had a great time doing it!

We've looked at what makes us scouts, what scouting means to us and why we make our promise every year. Over the course of the programme scouts have experienced an old skool troop night, with games they'd never played before and a campfire yarn or too as well as wearing their values round they neck, playing the most unromantic widegame in the world ever, and even learning how to iron a necker.

The aim of the 3rd Washington Scouts is to promote the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potential, as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities.
