Scouts: Go with the Flow

For the next two Fridays, Scouts from 3rd Washington have the chance to ride the Flow Rider at Heworth Leisure Centre. After some sliding up the flow to get accustomed, Scouts will quickly be introduced to the  surfboard and learn to ride the 30mph torrent of water. 

The Flow Rider is one of only 3 in the UK and cost a quarter of a million pounds to install.
