Summer Camp 2010: The Height of Adventure

Mountain biking, climbing, abseiling and kayaking over two days took the adrenalin to the max!

Yesterday we took the bikes to Glentress Forest, the premier mountain biking area in Scotland. There were bomb-holes, jumps, balance beams and a huge amount of downhills to get the heart racing. We've got some videos to post when we get home which will scare the life out of some of you!

Today we've been to Rock UK and had an action packed day of kayaking, high ropes and an awesome zip wire over the tree tops. Many scouts conquered some fears when it came to water and heights and every single one of us flew down the 300 metre zip.

Tomorrow we're doing the touristy things in Edinburgh checking out the lions and tigers, then Thursday we're building bivouacs.
