Scouts: Sun Shines on Weekend Adventure

This weekend PLs and APLs from 3rd Washington and Fatfield have been basking in the sun at Dilston campsite near Hexham. This weekend is a bit different from some of our normal camps, the programme has been more relaxed, a chance for PLs and APLs to get to know each other better and even learn some new skills.

Saying that it was more relaxed did not mean however that it lacked any of the adventure you would expect to find at camp. Fires were built, walks were walked and wide games were played.

Just to prove that activities even challenge our PLs and APLs, many were reluctant to take the plunge into the chilly (or some might say freezing) river at Devils Water.
