Scouts @ St Andrews: There's a Mole in my Patrol

How well do you think you know your patrol? And how suprised would you be if someone wasn't quite who you thought they were? Well that's what happened tonight as scouts at St Andrews took on a team challenge night with a twist. The twist was that someone in each patrol was a mole, a saboteur, a secret agent working for the leader team. The only aim of the game for the mole was to stop their patrol winning so that they could take the prize for themselves.

Patrols were challenged through the evening to show off their scouting and teamwork skills, with a spot of blind tent pitching, rapid action GPS navigation, sedan chair racing and building a human pyramid all in the space of an hour.

Patrols that worked closely as a team found it was easy to spot the destructive forces of the saboteur, they noticed when someone untied one of their lashings or fell off in the human pyramid on purpose.

Congratulations to the Falcons patrol for winning the night overall and to the moles who managed to keep their identity a secret.
