Scouts' Slippery Slope!

80 girls and boys from the Scout Troop donned their swimming gear, laid out their 100m plastic slide, turned on the floodlights and hurtled down a slippery adventure. We've had the water slide out 4 times during the programme and we've had so much fun!

13 year old Niall Quinn said; "Tonight has been great fun....the weather wasn't great so we kept warm by running up to go on again and again. Scouts is all about having a really good time."

After an hours' sliding the scouts dried off and enjoyed a hot chocolate drink before reviewing the evening's entertainment as part of their themed programme and enthusing about July's Summer Camp when we will have the slide out again.

3rd Washington Scouts are one of 6 Scout Groups in the Washington and Houghton area and lead adventure for 170 young people every week.
