Scouts: Getting Our Roller Sk8s On

Every week we promise to bring our scouts a new adventure and this week was no exception as we brought a roller disco to our HQ as part of our creative challenge programme.

There were some very wobbly legs out there as scouts got their balance on their skates before we played some skating games and kicked off the disco.

As the night went on, confidence grew and everyone had a great time enjoying the music and dancing along to the Cha Cha Slide. As you can see in the pictures, it wasn't just the scouts having fun, adult volunteers had huge enjoyment too.

There's more images to view in our photos zone.

Every young person in Scouting enjoys a balanced programme of activities, events and experiences, based around subject areas we call Programme Zones. The zones cover a huge range of activities, from outdoor and physical pursuits to community involvement, creative expression and learning about the wider world.
