Signing songs around the campfire
As is now tradition on the penultimate day of camp, our day was spent in town and at the swimming baths, before a huge BBQ and campfire.

An hour in Selkirk allowed Scouts the opportunities to buy gifts for friends and family and for the leader team to visit our favourite local coffee shop for a cuppa and a caramel slice. In the afternoon we were off to Gala for some fun at the swimming pool. Scouts enjoyed the inflatable obstacle course and full credit goes to Ryan who kept on trying until he made it to the end.

We ended the day with a campfire and a mix of Scout's favourite campfire songs mixed with some modern classics led by by Phil and Nick on the guitars and some brave Scouts got up and sang for us, well done to Jess and Elle in particular! A personal favourite song for the night has to be the bungalow song which we learned recently from another group. 'Hey Miller, Hey Miller, show us how you Bungalow!'
