'Scouts are careful with possessions and property'

Today, patrol leaders from one of the troops put their scout law into practice....taking care of their possessions and property, by giving the group minibus a thorough clean. Helen, Emily, Jack and Alex washed and polished the outside paintwork, vacuumed and washed the interior, and steam cleaned the seats ahead of today's Patrol Leaders' Forum. The work got done despite Emily and Helen's efforts to soak everyone with the hose. Scouts aim to deep clean the bus three times a year to coincide with the regular safety checks the bus has at the Ford Dealer. This makes sure its in tip top condition for our weekly journeys.  Find out more about our minibus here and about our weekly adventures in the sections' programmes here.
