On Wednesday night 17 scouts and adults went to South Tyneside's 6th annual magic show to see some really cool magic and got a heads up on our next programme; Myths, Legends and Magic.

There was 4 acts, The first being Magic Mick. He began by trying to arrange some rather mischievous traffic light coloured balls. Then he showed us the all time classic magic trick - he made a white rabbit appear from an empty box!

Second was Matthew. He showed us some rather cool card tricks and made cards just appear (literally!). He then showed us all how to pull off the hand and hankerchief trick, and finally ended with some strange pieces of rope to say the least!

South Carolina... A long way isn't it? This is where our next act traveled from! He showed us some really neat tricks and made a story about a princess using magic.

And Finally there was Graeme. He was an illusionist and had a quite peculiar magic wand, which turned different colours. He then made his hankerchief dance and then ended the whole show with the traditional 'Cut In Half' trick. He locked his assistant in a box and then stuck metal plates and objects straight through it! I've seen it on telly before, but to see it live was amazing!

A thoroughly enjoyable night was had by all!
