Funding Our Adventures: Music Magpie Donations

At this year's AGM, the scout group launched it's Music Magpie campaign which, has proven very successful in recent weeks due to the kind donations of the countless CDs, DVDs and Games donated.

As it stands, we currently have around 250 CDs and DVDs which is well on target to make the group a huge £150 which will contribute towards equipment and generally go towards group funds.

We again thank everyone who has already donated however, we’re going for a final push of a round 350 to get them all sent off and for music magpie to give us a cheque in return- could you help in making a push for a first goal of 350 items?

This weekend also saw the campaign go online (click here for link) where everyone can see and truly appreciate the kindness by watching our collection rise!

To donate your unwanted CDs and DVDs, simply bring a bag or box of your unwanted CDs, Games or DVDs down to your childs section meeting and we’ll sort the rest! It really is as simple as it seems.

Don’t forget, there are many more ways to raise funds for the group, such as easy fundraising and text message donations. Simply visit www.3rdwashingtonscouts.org.uk/fundraising
