Tonight was a historical moment for our Group as we launch our second Cub pack in the Oxclose area. Following a successful launch assembly at Oxclose Village Primary School, Cub Scout Leader Gemma Youghusband and her adult team; Suzie, Keith, Kerry and Mick, supported by Craig, a young leader began an exciting 8-week programme. 22 Cubs attended on the first night and soon they will be 'under siege 'as they find out about how Scouts started, they'll be discovering who their real heroes are before 'getting down in da hood' and into uniform. Parents and family members can download important information like the programme, the admission form or information about subs from the downloads area of our website. The boys and girls taking part will benefit from generous support from Gentoo Ltd, The Scout Association and Oxclose Village Primary School.

3rd Washington Scout Group also extends a warm welcome to Kerry, Suzie, Keith and Mick who join the 25 strong adult team in the Group. We wish them well. Meet the new Leader Team in the section's welcome leaflet.

Well done to everyone concerned who made the launch a huge success.
