Cubs @ Oxclose: Rain Can't Stop Our Wild Adventure

posted 6 Feb 2011, 12:43 by Stephen Harrison   [ updated 21 Aug 2013, 15:07 ]
Today cubs at Oxclose went wild as they visited Beamish's low ropes course and birds of prey centre.

The low ropes course challenged cubs to work together and to over come difficulties, but above all it was great fun in the rain.

Cubs got to find out about the birds of prey through a treasure hunt around the centre, then got to hold the birds at the flight demonstration. Cubs came face to face with some of the most prolific hunters of the bird world including the Eagle with it's huge wingspan.

Despite the weatherthe Cubs had a fabulous time and kept smiling all day. We were particularly please with the way behaved they represented the group with exemplary behaviour.
