This week was blast off for Cubs @ Oxclose as they began their new programme cycle. Cubs enjoyed decorating their rockets before blastoff. We had 'Aqua Pump Jet', 'JLS Flyer' and even 'Bob the Robot'. Cubs strapped their rockets onto the launchpad and let them fly!

Again and again, leaders pumped the rockets full of gas and propelled them into the air going higher and higher. Imagine the countdown: T-Minus 10, 9, 8... Cubs were anxious... 3, 2, 1 and then in a huge spray trail of water, their rockets took to the sky. launching them up and then they glided back down, safely to earth... for another go!

As Cubs on the ground at mission control were retrieving the rockets and preparing them for a second flight, another would fly right overhead, soaking everyone. You can see our excitment in our videos by visiting our YouTube channel. Photos, are already online in the members area.

The latest Cubs @ Oxclose programme is available in the downloads area.
