The BP walk is a hike from Fourstones to Humshaugh (both near Hexham) tracing the route Baden Powell took on the first ever
scout camp. We will reinact this event on Saturday 9th April. Beavers should meet at St Andrews Church at 10:00 or if you wish you
can meet us at Fourstones at 10:45 and we will start
walking at 11:00. Date: 9 April 2011 Meet: St. Andrews 10.00am or at Fourstones 10.45am Return: 2.00pm @ St. Andrews This is a popular
event with Beavers, walking though the Northumbria country side to the cairn in the woods which
marks the Lookwide camp site where we stop for a packed lunch, Scouts will
renew there promise. Beaver Scouts will receive a certificate name tap, BP badge &
special Lookwide woggle & non members will receive a certificate for
completing the walk. Costs
If you wish to make your own way to Fourstones the Cost will be Scout members £3 this includes badges & certificate. Non members £1 this includes certificate only. Maps will be provided Beavers please:
