Expedition sleepover

Expeditions, BBQ, friends.
This August, get together with your friends to prepare your expedition skills and enjoy the last of the sun with a BBQ!

The sleepover will see you rotate around a series of activities to learn key expedition skills. It's ideal to prepare you for your DofE expedition in September (see here)! It's expedition food, first aid, navigation and much more! Plus, you'll earn your stage 3 first aid badge!

The day finishes with a (sunny?!) BBQ and around the fire. Relax, play music and spend time with friends.

It's a sleepover not to be missed!

Duke of Edinburgh's award practice expedition
This event counts as part of your training towards the Duke of Edinburgh's bronze award expedition.

The DofE charity are trialling a new initiative which removes the requirement for a formal practice expedition. Instead, explorers who have already taken part in a camp and/ or an expedition (e.g. as scouts) can take part in training to prepare them for their real expedition. This sleepover counts towards your award instead of a formal practice expedition.
